The Motivation and Story Behind Building the Product and Virtual Doctors Company
During the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020, my Dad who was sick before that time was not able to access the health facility where he was being treated. Painfully, he remained at home with no healthcare owning to the lockdown.
Even after the lockdown, because of the fear of being infected, he was not able to visit the health facility. This led to his health condition being degenerated. He lost his sight and became paralyzed as a result of the inaccessible healthcare.
The pain was heavy on me and it was done on me that thousands of people would be facing the same problem. I then thought of a solution to put an end to the problem which is making healthcare affordable, available and accessible to underserved people in rural and urban areas.
I then started taking steps to starting Virtual Doctors. Sadly, because of the deteriorated state of health of my Dad which wasn’t reversible, he passed on April 1st, 2023. I have decided that I will go the extra length to ensure affordable healthcare is accessible to all Nigerians and beyond. Send me a WhatsApp message here
