Virtual Doctors Limited Checkout Terms and Conditions
These checkout terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Virtual Doctors Telemedicine Platform (“the Platform”) provided by Virtual Doctors Limited (“the Company”). By completing the checkout process and accessing the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from proceeding with the checkout or using the Platform.
Telemedicine Services
– The Platform offers a secure, confidential online environment connecting users with licensed healthcare professionals (“Doctors”) for remote consultations via audio, video, or text, as well as homecare and remote services.
– Doctors on the Platform provide medical advice, diagnoses, prescriptions, and related services. However, telemedicine may have limitations compared to in-person evaluations.
– The Platform does not offer emergency medical services. In case of an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
User Obligations
– You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during checkout and registration.
– You are responsible for safeguarding your account login details and preventing unauthorized access.
– You must adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines while using the Platform.
Privacy and Security
– The Company respects your privacy and processes your personal data per its Privacy Policy, accessible on the Platform’s website.
– Reasonable security measures are in place to protect your personal information and ensure communication confidentiality. However, absolute security of internet data transmission cannot be guaranteed.
Payment and Fees
– Completing the checkout process obligates you to pay the fees outlined for telemedicine services on the Platform.
– Fees are displayed during checkout and payable in the specified currency.
– The Company may adjust fees at its discretion, with advance notification of any changes.
– Payment processing is managed by third-party providers, and the Company does not store or access your payment card details.
Limitation of Liability
– The Company and its Doctors are not liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from your use of the Platform or its services.
– The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” with no express or implied warranties.
– Doctors, as licensed professionals, offer advice and treatment based on the information you provide. They cannot guarantee outcomes from external diagnostic centers or labs.
Termination
– The Company may suspend or terminate your Platform access at its sole discretion, without prior notice, for reasons including but not limited to breaches of these Terms.
– Upon termination, any pending fees become immediately due.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
– These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, excluding its conflict of laws principles.
– Disputes related to these Terms fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos, Nigeria.
