Virtual Doctors Telemedicine Platform Checkout Terms and Conditions

These checkout terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Virtual Doctors Telemedicine platform (“the Platform”) provided by Virtual Doctors Limited (“the Company”). By completing the checkout process and using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not proceed with the checkout process or use the Platform.

1. Telemedicine Services

1. The Platform provides a secure and confidential online platform that enables users to connect with licensed healthcare professionals (“Doctors”) for remote medical consultations via audio, video, or text communication and homecare/remote services.

1. The Doctors on the Platform provide medical advice, diagnoses, prescriptions, and other related services. However, it is important to note that telemedicine consultations may have limitations compared to in-person medical evaluations.

1. The Platform does not provide emergency medical services. In case of a medical emergency, please contact your local emergency services immediately.

2. User Obligations

1. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during the checkout and registration process.

1. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and ensuring that it is not accessed by unauthorized individuals.

1. You must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines while using the Platform.

3. Privacy and Security

1. The Company respects your privacy and handles your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which is available on the Platform’s website.

1. The Company implements reasonable security measures to protect your personal information and maintain the confidentiality of your communications. However, the Company cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmission over the internet.

4. Payment and Fees

1. By proceeding with the checkout process, you agree to pay the fees specified for the telemedicine services provided on the Platform.

1. All fees are clearly stated during the checkout process and are payable in the currency specified.

1. The Company may update the fees at its discretion. Any changes to the fees will be communicated to you in advance.

1. Payment processing is handled by third-party payment providers, and the Company does not store or have access to your payment card information.

5. Limitation of Liability

1. The Company and its Doctors shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform or the services provided through the Platform.

1. The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties or representations, express or implied.
2. The healthcare providers on the platform are licensed professionals and will provide medical advice and treatment based on the information you provide. However, they cannot guarantee diagnoses or treatment outcomes you got from any diagnostic center or lab.

6. Termination

1. The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time without prior notice, in its sole discretion, for any reason, including but not limited to your violation of these Terms.

1. Upon termination, any outstanding fees shall become immediately due and payable.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

1. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos, Nigeria.
