About Dr. AGANWEZE
I am a passionate and diligent physician and neurologist with over 10 years' experience in clinical medicine. I have worked in both private and government establishments, managing numerous medical and surgical cases at the pre-specialty level. Driven by my passion and curiosity for knowledge, I enrolled for a residency program in clinical medicine where I acquired my qualification as a physician, with a fellowship in general neurology. As a fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, I have managed several medical conditions, both neurological and others at tertiary and specialist levels. In addition, I have certifications in electrophysiological neurology, mainly electroencephalography (EEG) and Electromyography (EMG) & Nerve conduction studies (NCS), which have equipped me with the skills and knowledge in electrophysiological setup, procedures and interpretation. I have attended several seminars in generic competencies and human resource management. Also, I have co-authored a paper recently and am currently working on research in stroke epidemiology and prognosis, with few more to come. I believe my knowledge and experience in neurology and internal medicine will enhance efficient healthcare delivery, especially in stroke care, neuroimmunological disorders, seizure disorders in adults and paediatric age group.
